A photovoltaic manufacturer in Yangzhou produces high‑efficiency wafers, solar cells, and modules. The cell workshop is designed for 14 GW of total capacity. At current output, it uses about 3.8 million m³ of water per year. At full capacity, that figure rises to 6.8 million m³.
Production wastewater is discharged at a similar volume.
