Digital Intelligence, Deep Blue, Creating the Future: China Marine Economy Expo

On October 28th, the 2025 China Marine Economy Expo, themed "Digital Intelligence, Deep Blue, Creating the Future Together," grandly opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. As a national-level marine economy event, this expo brings together over 200 leading marine-related enterprises and institutions from around the world, focusing on core areas such as intelligent marine equipment and deep-sea technology, and establishing a cooperation platform for the entire industry chain through a new market-oriented exhibition mechanism.

Gathering the power of rivers and seas

This exhibition marks the first time Jiangsu Province has participated as a province-wide delegation, comprised of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Development and Reform Commissions of three cities, and the Ocean Development Bureau, showcasing the province's achievements and innovative strength in marine industry development. As a key member of the Nantong delegation, Bangtec actively responded to Nantong's strategic plan to build a "pioneer zone for high-quality development of Jiangsu's marine industry," showcasing its core products—the independently developed TS series seawater desalination membrane elements and TB series brackish water desalination membrane elements—which became a significant highlight of the exhibition area, demonstrating Nantong's marine technology strength.

During the exhibition, Bangtec's booth attracted the attention of numerous exhibitors and professional visitors with its advanced membrane separation technology and high-quality products. Leaders from the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, as well as Cao Lei, leader of the Investment Promotion Division of the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development, made a special trip to Bangtec's booth to engage in in-depth exchanges with the company's technical personnel. They learned in detail about the product's technical characteristics, application scenarios, and market promotion, and highly recognized Bangtec's technological accumulation and innovative achievements in the field of seawater desalination membranes.

On the 29th, at the award ceremony of the China Marine Economy Expo, Bangtec won the 2025 "Ocean Star" Ecological Co-construction Award for its technological innovation strength and achievements in ecological co-construction. Lu Junsan, Vice General Manager of Bangtec (second from right in the picture below), went on stage to accept the award on behalf of Bangtec.

It is understood that this year's "Ocean Star" award focuses on technological innovation, ecological contribution and industrial driving force, and is a highly prestigious honor recognized by the China Marine Economy Expo.

Bangtec's participation in the exhibition with the Nantong delegation and its winning of important awards not only demonstrates its leading technological position in the field of membrane separation, but also signifies the continuous improvement of the voice and influence of Chinese domestic membrane companies in the global marine economy industrial chain, injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of my country's marine industry.

Concurrently with the exhibition, a primary school in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, moved its classroom to the Marine Expo site, conducting a "Half-Day Weekly Study Tour" to learn about marine resource development and marine ecological protection. At Bangtec's booth, children actively asked questions of the technical staff, their curiosity transforming into a basic understanding of membrane elements through expert explanations. This immersive study tour not only allowed children to step outside the classroom and experience the forefront of the marine economy, but also planted seeds of exploration and protection for the ocean in their hearts, uniting the youth in the future development of the marine economy. It also added a warm, educational dimension to this year's Marine Expo, beyond simply promoting industrial cooperation.
