Category Introduction
The Extreme Low Pressure RO Membrane series is designed specifically for treating low-salinity water sources. It is suitable for surface water, groundwater, tap water, and municipal water supplies with salinity levels below 1000 ppm. This product is particularly suitable for use as the second desalination stage in a two-stage reverse osmosis system.
Using ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis membranes, the system maintains high water flux and salt rejection at extremely low operating pressures, reducing the performance requirements of equipment such as high-pressure pumps, pressure piping, and membrane housings, thereby reducing system energy consumption and operating costs. This characteristic makes ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis membranes widely used in various industries, including packaged drinking water, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and boiler feed water treatment.
