Nanofiltration(NF) Membrane Sheet

Nanofiltration Membrane Sheet
Core positioning: "selective separation" membrane, between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis, focusing on "partial desalination + retaining beneficial components".

Key features:
The separation mechanism is special: it is mainly based on "sieving effect + charge repulsion", with a high rejection rate (70%~99%) for divalent ions (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺) and a low rejection rate (20%~70%) for monovalent ions (Na⁺, Cl⁻);
It can intercept small molecular organic matter (molecular weight 200~1000Da), such as antibiotics, pigments, and pesticide residues, but retain minerals (such as potassium and magnesium);
The operating pressure is low (0.3~2.0MPa), and the energy consumption is only 50%~70% of reverse osmosis.
Scene adaptation: drinking water softening (removing calcium and magnesium ions, preventing scale), fruit juice concentration (retaining vitamins, removing sugar), pharmaceutical intermediate purification (trapping impurities, retaining active ingredients), groundwater nitrate/fluoride removal.

Category Introduction

The RO Membrane Sheet is the core functional component of reverse osmosis technology, serving as a semi-permeable membrane material that achieves substance separation through the principle of selective permeation. Driven by pressure, it efficiently retains ions, organic matter, microorganisms, and other impurities in water while allowing only water molecules to pass through preferentially. This makes it a key element in water treatment and substance separation for purification, concentration, and refinement processes.
